St. Xavier wins on late TD

Sean Clifford ran in a 15-yard TD with 1:29 remaining to lift St. Xavier to a 34-29 win over Indianapolis Cathedral on Friday.
The Bombers led by 12 late in the third quarter, but Cathedral scored back-to-back touchdowns to take the fourth-quarter lead.
Clifford was 13 of 22 passing for 224 yards and one touchdowns. He also scored twice on the ground.
St. Xavier, which won its second straight to get to .500, opens GMC South play next week when it hosts Moeller.
