Winton Woods stifles Elder

Winton Woods scored two touchdowns in a three-plus minute span of the third quarter en route to a 26-14 win over Elder on Friday.
Trailing by one, the Warriors’ Cornell Beachem caught a 70-yard touchdown pass from Raequan Prince with 7:23 left in the third quarter to take the lead.
Miyan Williams sealed it with 3:59 remaining in that frame when he ran in a 34-yard TD. He finished with 16 carries for 149 yards.
Beachem’s catch was the only Winton Woods completion of the game.
The Warriors held the Panthers to 144 yards of offense, and just 25 rushing yards on 28 carries.
