TriStateFootball Leaves VYPE Network
- Updated: March 22, 2017
CINCINNATI, Oh – After two years of being part of the VYPE High School Sports Network, TriStateFootball.com (TSF) will return to being an independent website once again effective immediately.
GetSports Enterprises LLC, the operator of TSF, and PrimeTime Sports, the parent company of VYPE, mutually agreed to end their partnership earlier this month.
The partnership was entered with the best intentions by all parties, but unfortunately an early acquisition of PrimeTime Sports by Blue Star Sports led to a change in business goals where it no longer made sense for either party to continue to remain partners.
“TSF has been covering high school football in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana since 2005,” said TSF Publisher Dan Clasgens. “We remain the only media outlet dedicated to covering high school football exclusively, year round in the market and our brand stands alone.”
To start the new beginning, a brand new TriStateFootball.com has been launched. Users that have bookmarked the old website or have it stored in their history need to clear out the cache and save the new one. The URL vype.com/tristatefootball will not be updated with new content any longer and will go away forever after April 30, 2017.
To visit the new website simply type TriStateFootball.com or click on www.tristatefootball.com.
There are several key partnership announcements coming soon and some big changes in store for the 2017 season.
“We are proud of what we’ve accomplished in our first 12 years of high school football coverage, but the best is yet to come,” Clasgens added. “There’s no place better in this country for high school football than right here in our backyard and we are committed to covering better than anybody else.”
TSF will continue to partner with PrimeTime Sports to bring a 7-on-7 event to the Tri-state area later this summer.
Official 2017 previews begin on TSF starting April 3rd. Be sure to follow us on TWITTER and like us on FACEBOOK to stay tuned for more updates.
