Wilmington’s Ames Voted TSF POW

DJ Ames of the Wilmington Hurricane was voted the TSF Player of the Week for Week 3, registering 3,111 (23.93 percent) of the 12,998 total votes registered.
Ames racked up 328 yards from scrimmage (249 rushing, 80 receiving) and scored three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) as Wilmington bested Butler.
Wallace edged out Corey Kiner of Roger Bacon and Beavercreek’s Cody Hocker in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 18 players were nominated with 10,224 votes casted.
We will be presenting awards to each of this season’s winners at the upcoming TSF Year in Review Show coming in mid-to-late February (more details coming soon).
