Anderson’s Faulkner voted POW

Joey Faulkner of Anderson was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 9, registering 2,229 votes (35.55 percent).
Faulkner caught 19 balls for 175 yards and a touchdown as the Redskins knocked off previously unbeaten Piqua, 29-22.
He edged out Brayden Fraasman of Ross and Oak Hill’s Devin Holt in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 12 players were nominated with a total of 6,270 votes submitted.
