Batesville’s Bonelli voted POW

Bryson Bonelli of Batesville was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 1, tallying 1,793 votes (18.97 percent).
Bonelli hauled in six receptions for 146 yards and two touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 35-13 triumph over Indian Creek.
He edged out Riley Caldwell of Ross and Campbell County’s Nate Smith in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 21 players were nominated with 9,451 votes casted.
