We have hit the mid-way mark of the regular season and St. Xavier isn’t budging from the top spot of the Blitz 5 Top 25 powered by TriStateFootball.com. The Bombers have wins over #2 Lakota West, #5 Moeller and #7 Colerain. They get another crack at a Top 10 win on Friday night as #6 Elder comes calling.
Beechwood made the biggest leap in the poll. The Tigers jumped up six spots after knocking off Covington Catholic for the first time since 2014. Both St. Xavier and Beechwood have 13-game winning streaks dating back to last season.
