Blitz 5 Top 25: Week 3

Defense fueled the fire in some impressive Week 2 non-conference wins by Moeller, Elder, Badin, East Central and Wyoming. Conference play started in the GMC and ECC where the “D” was just as stellar. The new Blitz 5 Top 25 presented by TriStateFootball.com reflects the changes from those who flexed their muscles last weekend.

There are only three games that will see Blitz 5 Top 25 teams facing off in Week 3. The most intriguing has #2 Moeller hosting #10 East Central in a Saturday Night Special.

Life doesn’t get any easier for #13 Lakota East, who hosted #1 Lakota West last Friday. Now they get the same honor versus #4 Princeton. Also, on the slate, #11 Colerain looks to avoid a very rare 0-3 start as #5 Fairfield comes calling.

A pair of matchups between unbeaten GCL South and GWOC squads, #7 Elder at Springboro and #8 La Salle at Fairmont should be well worth the price of admission.
