Middletown voted Team of Week

The Middletown Middies were voted the Gold Star Chili Team of the Week for Week 1 as they knocked off Loveland 31-16 to start their season.

The Middies finished with 2,624 votes (30.43 percent) of the 8,624 total votes tallied, edging out Lloyd and Turpin in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com.

Aiken, Boone County, Milford, New Richmond, Roger Bacon, St. Xavier and Withrow were also nominated.

As the Team of the Week winner, Middletown will be presented an award to the team in the near future from our friends at Gold Star Chili.
