Deer Park’s Goure voted POW

EJ Goure of Deer Park was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 3, tallying 2,611 votes (27.75 percent).

Goure had four touchdowns (three rushing, one receiving) on six offensive touches for 182 yards from scrimmage (134 rushing, 48 receiving) in the Wildcats; 47-12 win over MVCA.

He edged out Eugene Harvey of Sycamore and Taylor’s Jackson McGowan in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com this week. In total, 15 players were nominated with 9,410 votes casted.
