Turpin’s Overholser voted POW

Evan Overholser of Turpin was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 8, tallying 941 votes (15.67 percent).
Overholser reeled in 11 receptions for 152 yards and a pair of scores in the Spartans win over Walnut Hills.
He edged out Daniel Wallace of Lebanon and Batesville’s Will Jaisle in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com this week. In total, 14 players were nominated with 6,004 votes casted.
