2023 IFCA Top 50 All-State Team & Mr. Indiana Football by Position

Two-time defending Class 4A state champion East Central (15-0) placed two players on the 2023 IFCA Top 50 All-State Team, running back Josh Ringer and offensive line man Noah Schneider. Ringer was also named Indiana Mr. Football at running back.
Ringer capped off an amazing career rushing for 2,880 yards (16th highest single season total in Indiana history), averaging 10.3 yards per carry with 55 touchdowns this season. The senior also had 13 receptions for 278 yards (21.4 yds/rec) and five touchdown catches. His 360 points scored is tied for fifth most in a season in Indiana in history.

The Miami (OH) commit ends his career with 6,640 yards rushing (14th most all-time in Indiana history) and 110 trips to the end zone on the ground. He also racked up 42 receptions for 774 yards and another eight touchdowns in a Trojans uniform.
Paving the way for Ringer was Top 50 selection, Schneider. The Trojans senior anchored an offensive line that helped produce 6,252 yards of total offense, averaged 416.8 yards per game, averaged 323.1 yards per game on the ground, and had 97 offensive touchdowns of which 75 were rushing, that’s five per game!
This is the second time in the last three years that an Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference (EIAC) player has been named Indiana Mr. Football at a position. Lawrenceburg’s Ashton Craig was named the 2021 Mr. Football offensive lineman. Craig started several games at center for Noter Dame this season.
