Quietly flying under the radar, Lloyd is creating quite the buzz about football in Erlanger. The Juggernauts head into 2024 having won 10 games in back-to-back seasons for the first time since before 1990. The program shows no signs of slowing up amidst all these new heights that it is reaching.

Winning double-digits games again will be a challenge especially with the loss 17 seniors to graduation. “Our goal is to continue building our program. We have had success the last couple of years because of the leadership within our program and this season shouldn’t be any different,” head coach Kyle Niederman states.

Lloyd dominated on both sides of the ball last season scoring 45 points or more eight times and holding eight opponents to eight points or less last season. The Juggernauts had a 25.4-point margin of victory.

With six starters returning on offense and five back on defense, Niederman believes the nucleus will hit the field on Friday nights. “We have a ton of athleticism eager to fill the roles left open by the graduating 17 seniors. We will be young in some areas, but our leadership will help bring those young student athletes along.”

The Juggernauts schedule is set up for the team to make another good run heading into the playoffs. Only three opponents finished 2023 with a winning record. Lloyd is set up for another successful campaign as long as they take care of the business that they are supposed and that has been the teams calling card under Niederman.
