Anderson annihilates West Clermont

Anderson QB Justice Burnam

CINCINNATI, Oh. – If the first two weeks of the season are any indication, the offense of the #5 Andrson Raptors will be a hard beast to tame for any team on their 2024 schedule.

One week after dropping 50-plus points in a 51-6 victory over South Oldham, the Rapters did much the same in Week Two, putting over 50 points on the scoreboard against Eastern Cincinnati Conference foe, the West Clermont Wolves, in a 52-7 romp.

The game was never in doubt, as the Raptors went into halftime with a 45-0 lead over the Wolves, and then let off the gas by playing some second-string to wrap the game up.

Anderson finished the game with 474 yards of total offense, led primarily by quarterback Justice Burnam, who was almost impeccable in going 18-21 for 275 yards and three touchdowns. His main target was wideout Trace Jallick, who caught eight passes for 193 yards and two scores. Raptor running back Durrell Turner added 109 yards on the ground – in six carries – and two more touchdowns.

Anderson moves to 2-0 on the season, and 1-0 in the ECC, while West Clermont drops to 1-1, 0-1 in the ECC.
