Ayden Basham of Blanchester was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 2, registering 1,836 votes (33.30 percent).
Basham ran for six TD’s and threw for another, including the game-winning score in the final minute in a win over Cincinnati Country Day.
He edged out Malachi Kennedy of Dayton and Hamilton’s Andre Bailey in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com this week. In total, 14 players were nominated with 5,513 votes cast.
We will be presenting awards to each of this season’s winners at the upcoming TSF Year in Review Show coming in mid-to-late February (more info coming on this later in the year).
