Mason Fields of Dixie Heights was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 5, registering 1,120 votes (33.21 percent).
Fields threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns on 17-of-27 passing to lead the Colonels to an explosive 46-24 victory over Henry Clay.
He edged out Hunter Gagen of Fairfield and Highlands’ Tayden Lorenzen in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com this week. In total, 14 players were nominated with over 3,700 votes cast.
