Evan Otto of Roger Bacon was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 3, registering 1,440 votes (34.67 percent).
Otto was a jack-of-all-trades in the Spartans’ victory over Hughes connecting on all five of his extra point attempts, averaging 45.0 yards on three punts, snaring an interception and scoring a 28-yard touchdown in his only reception.
He edged out Brady Wonnell of Batesville and Covington Catholic’s Cash Harney in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com this week. In total, 18 players were nominated with 4,154 votes cast.
