Jackson Ruth of Elder was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 7, registering 3,035 votes (34.3 percent).
Ruth had nine catches for 139 yards and a pair of scores as the Panthers took down top-ranked Moeller to win the GCL South title.
He edged out Eddie Bivens of Newport Central Catholic and St. Xavier’s Griffin Lyons in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com this week. In total, 16 players were nominated with over 8,859 votes cast.
We will be presenting awards to each of this season’s winners at the upcoming TSF Year in Review Show coming in mid-to-late February (more info coming on this later in the year).
