Week 8 of the high school football season is here, and High School Football Tonight has you covered before and after another big Friday night across the Tri-state.
The night begins at 6 p.m. ET, when Greg Shoemaker gets you ready for kickoff with the High School Football Tonight Pregame Show. Greg will preview the biggest matchups, storylines and players to watch from around Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.
Among the headliners is a Top 10 showdown across the river as #7 Elder visits #8 Highlands, while Talawanda travels to #12 Harrison with control of the SWOC race on the line. There are also important games throughout the Blitz 5 Top 25 as teams battle for conference championships and playoff positioning with just three weeks remaining in the Ohio regular season.
Blitz 5 Game of the Week: St. Xavier at La Salle
Following the pregame show, the spotlight shifts to the Blitz 5 Game of the Week as #6 St. Xavier travels to #20 La Salle in the latest edition of the Battle of North Bend Road.
Both teams enter at 3-4, but their records don’t tell the entire story after navigating difficult schedules. St. Xavier has won six straight in the series, while La Salle will look to knock off its neighborhood rival for the first time since 2019.
After the pregame show, tune in to the St. Xavier Bomber Radio Network for live coverage of St. Xavier and La Salle.
