The Lawrenceburg Tigers have been voted the Gold Star Team of the Week for Week 10, earning the final weekly honor of the 2026 season.
Lawrenceburg closed out the regular season in impressive fashion, rolling past New Castle, 52-18, to improve to 9-1. The Tigers then prevailed in one of the most competitive Gold Star polls of the season.
Lawrenceburg received 29.42 percent of the vote, narrowly edging Deer Park at 28.76 percent. North College Hill finished third with 15.12 percent.
Walton-Verona (10.30 percent) and Goshen (9.48 percent) also received strong support. Simon Kenton, Winton Woods, Holy Cross, Harrison and McNicholas rounded out the Week 10 nominees.
The Tigers will receive a special Gold Star Team of the Week award, presented at the school courtesy of Gold Star.
