Hamilton trailed by a touchdown three different times but scored three straight fourth-quarter TDs to edge Kings, 34-27 on Friday.

The Big Blue were down, 20-14 after three periods. Eric Jackson ran in scores from five and seven yards out to give Hamilton a 27-20 lead.

Jackson also threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Daveon Williams to extend the Big Blue’s lead to two scores.

Kings scored with 1:59 left on a 1-yard run by Tyler Knecht, but the Knights could not generate the equalizer.

Jackson rushed 27 times for 137 yards and three scores and was 7 of 12 passing for 166 yards and one TD as Hamilton improved to 3-0.

Knecht ran the ball 15 times for 110 yards for Kings, and he ended the night 16 of 30 passing for 172 yards and one score.
