Talawanda jumped out to a 17-0 lead and never looked back in getting a road win over Eaton. The Brave tallied 519 total yards in the victory and did a big chunk of their damage on the ground. The Brave rushed for 356 total yards on only 36 attempts.
Running back Lance Catrell was the main attraction in the run game. He rushed 25 times for 313 yards and four touchdowns. Catrell averaged 12.5 yards per carry leading to his big night. Quarterback Oliver Bennett was 8/12 passing for 166 yards and two scores through the air. Camar Ellis caught a touchdown to go along with 76 yards on just four receptions and Aiden Vorhees caught a touchdown as well for the Brave who improved to 3-0 on the season. Winton Lowe and Kemper McAfee each had eight tackles in the win.
Eaton got over 100 yards rushing from Sawyer Keating and Brycen Simpson in the loss. Defensively the got six tackles from Presley Stewart and Fletcher Jordan to lead their efforts in the loss.
