Williamsburg jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead on the road at Mariemont and came away with a big out of conference win on Friday night. The Wildcats were dominant from the outset as they outgained the Warriors 281-161 in total yards including 206-58 on the ground. The Wildcats used a steady running game to control the tempo of the game and get the win. Gray Robinson rushed 14 times for 114 yards and a touchdown to pace the Wildcats. Carson Tenhunfeld rushed for two scores and Troy Harris added another on the ground for Williamsburg.
Tenhunfeld was 9/18 passing for 71 yard and a touchdown pass as he connected with Grady Barber for a score. For Mariemont quarterback Zachary Maier did all that he could do in the loss. Maier was 12/27 passing for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Teddy Veidt and Quinn He is both caught touchdown passes for the Warriors who did not get on the board until the fourth quarter. With the win Williamsburg moves to 3-0 on the season and Mariemont sits at 2-1 with the loss.
