2026 Schedule Sneak Peek: Elder

Coming off the school’s fourth undefeated season and first 12-0 start in program history, Elder hopes to defy the odds again. Another 10-0 campaign will be difficult to attain against a slate that includes nine teams that won eight games or more a year ago. To accomplish perfection again would be one of the greatest feats and stories of the first quarter of the 21st century in the Queen City.

The teams that Elder will play were a combined 87-40 (.685 winning %) in 2025. Keeping that in positive perspective, it is .004 percentage points lower than the teams that donned the 2025 schedule. It has been done before (last fall), so never say never. The Panthers will face eight squads that won at least two playoff games including two state runner-ups (St. Xavier and Louisville St. Xavier, a regional champion (Middletown) and three regional runner-ups (East Central, Highlands and Covington Catholic).

Here is a look at the 2026 Elder Panthers schedule:

FINAL TAKE: Sometimes the team after the one that reaches incredible heights churns out surprisingly pleasant results the following season. With the nucleus of quality that Elder returns and knowing that they have unfinished business to build upon this squad has plenty to keep it motivated. The regular season record may have some blemishes on it but don’t count Elder out of going even deeper into the playoffs that they did in 2026.
