Kellan Sprankles of Loveland has been voted the Week 4 Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week, earning 34.81 percent of the vote in fan voting at TriStateFootball.com.
Sprankles accounted for three touchdowns, rushing for two scores and throwing for another, while adding 74 yards on the ground as the Tigers pulled out a thrilling 36-35 victory over Milford.
The Loveland junior emerged from a competitive field, edging MVCA’s Jeremiah DesJardins, who finished with 28.01 percent of the vote, and Bishop Brossart’s Brady Boruske for the weekly honor. In all, 20 players were nominated and 2,192 votes were cast by fans across the Tri-State.
Sprankles joins the growing list of standout performers who will be honored at the TriStateFootball.com Year in Review Show in February, where all of this season’s weekly winners will be recognized and presented with their awards. Additional details on the event will be announced later this season.
Thank you to everyone who voted and to Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning for its continued support of TriStateFootball.com and high school football throughout the Tri-State.
