MILFORD, Ohio – Anderson continued its offensive assault on the ECC Friday night, racing to a 51-point halftime and rolling past Milford, 58-14.
The Raptors (5-1, 5-0 ECC) piled up 550 yards of offense, including 469 through the air, while scoring 30 points in the opening quarter and 21 more in the second.
Quarterback Owen Scalf delivered a spectacular performance, completing 26-of-30 passes for 433 yards and five touchdowns. His five TD passes went to four different receivers.
Jordan Davis was Anderson’s biggest playmaker, catching eight passes for 177 yards and a touchdown while adding two rushing scores. Tysin Weaver caught six passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
Anderson scored on four touchdown passes in the first half, including an 80-yard Scalf-to-Davis connection, while Davis added both of his rushing touchdowns.
The Raptors’ defense contributed to the rout by sacking Milford quarterback Aiden Wehrum five times. Wehrum finished 15-of-34 for 176 yards and two touchdowns.
Anderson has now scored 280 points in five ECC games, an average of 56.0 per contest.
