TSF Playoff Preview: The Road to a Championship

The regular season is complete in Ohio, postseason football is underway in Indiana and championship season is approaching in Northern Kentucky. Now the question becomes simple: Who has what it takes to make a deep playoff run?

TriStateFootball’s Daniel Kuhn and Jacob Berkemeier are joined by TSF Game Plan and High School Football Tonight co-host Safwan Alvi for a special TSF Playoff Preview, breaking down the brackets, contenders and potential matchups across the Tri-state.

The guys take a deep dive into a loaded Division I, Region 4, where undefeated Princeton earned the No. 1 seed but faces a field that includes Lakota West, Moeller, Elder, Winton Woods, St. Xavier, Lakota East and several other dangerous teams.

They also examine Division II, Region 8, where Anderson enters the postseason as the team to beat, before working through the rest of the Southwest Ohio playoff landscape and identifying teams capable of making noise over the next several weeks.

The conversation extends beyond Ohio with a look at the championship hopes of Highlands, Beechwood, Cooper, Lloyd Memorial and other Northern Kentucky programs, along with the Southeast Indiana teams already battling through win-or-go-home football.

Who has the best path? Which lower seeds could cause problems? And what potential postseason matchups should Tri-state football fans be hoping to see?

Watch the complete TSF Playoff Preview below as Daniel, Jacob and Safwan break down the road to a championship.
