Rams rack up Regional titles

The success of Trotwood-Madison over the past five years is unprecedented in Southwest Ohio. The Rams have won five straight Regional titles. A quest for a sixth crown won’t be easy as several very good programs will drop from Division II to Division III in 2015 to challenge Trotwood-Madison.

Here is a look at the Playoff History of the teams in the GWOC North:

Trotwood-Madison (10 appearances, 25-9) – 2014 (Regional Champion), 2013 (State runner-up), 2012 (State runner-up), 2011 (State Champion), 2010 (State runner-up), 2009, 2007, 2006, 2002, 1981 (State runner-up)

Piqua (10 appearances, 19-9) – 2007, 2006 (State Champion), 2001, 2000 (State Runner-Up), 1999, 1994 (Regional Champion), 1993 (Regional Champion), 1992 (Regional Champion), 1991, 1990 (Regional Champion)

Troy (11 appearances, 5-11) – 2011, 2010, 2004, 2000, 1997, 1996, 1995, 1992, 1989, 1986, 1985

Butler (six appearances, 6-6) – 2013, 2003, 2002, 2001 (Regional Champions), 2000, 1999

Greenville (two appearances, 0-2) – 1996, 1992
Sidney (one appearance, 2-1) – 1989
