Lakota East denies decisive late run
- Updated: August 28, 2015

Loveland was denied on a two-point conversion with 37 seconds remaining, as the Tigers fell to Lakota East, 35-34 on Friday.
Quarterback Drew Plitt ran in a five-yard touchdown in the final minute, which cut the lead to one, but he was stuffed on his ensuing run.
Lakota East’s Tyler Glenn had put the Thunderhawks ahead 33 seconds earlier with a 20-yard TD run that made it 35-28. Neither team led by more than seven the entire game.
Glenn finished with a game-high 183 yards rushing and a pair of scores on 28 carries.
Plitt finished 13 of 17 for 289 yards and two scores, and he added 70 ground yards on six carries and another touchdown. Luke Waddell led Loveland in rushing with 72 yards and a pair of TDs on 11 rushes.
Loveland will host Lebanon next week while Lakota East travels to Pickerington North.
