Beechwood piles up yards vs. Holy Cross

Beechwood rolled up 611 yards in a 55-21 win over Holy Cross on Friday.
Senior quarterback Kyle Fieger went 13-for-15 for 276 yards and four touchdowns in the Tigers’ win.
Brett Slusher caught eight of those passes for 151 yards and three TDs. He also ran the ball twice for 51 yards.
Ethan Stringer led Beechwood in ground yards with 173 on 22 rushes, scoring three times.
The Tigers more than doubled up the Indians’ offense, holding them to 289 yards. Holy Cross was led by Jaylin Williams, who caught three passes for 108 yards and two of their TDs.
Newport travels to Beechwood next Friday while Holy Cross faces Bethlehem at home.
