Team of the Week – Week 3

Gold Star Chili and TriStateFootball.com are partnering to present the High School Football Team of the Week during the 2015 regular season. Each week 8-10 schools will be nominated from the Greater Cincinnati area to be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner.
The voting is open now until Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Voters can vote once per hour, per IP address.
Once a team has won, they were ineligible to be nominated a second time. All of the winning teams will receive a trophy to be presented at their school by Gold Star Chili.
Here are this week’s nominations:
CHCA (2-1)
The Eagles went to New Richmond and outlasted a tough New Richmond team in a 49-35 shootout.
CONNER (2-1)
Conner rallied to squeak out a big come-from-behind road win at Scott to kickoff a four-game road swing.
FAIRFIELD (3-0)
The Indians moved to 3-0 with a 28-7 win over Dublin Coffman to close out a perfect non-conference slate.
HARRISON (1-2)
After losing their first two games by a combined three points, the Wildcats rolled to a 28-7 win vs. Anderson.
KINGS (3-0)
Kings has opened up the season with three straight victories posting 42 or more points each time out.
LASALLE (3-0)
With a big 39-36 win over Colerain, the Lancers moved to 3-0 in their state title defense campaign.
MARIEMONT (3-0)
Mariemont picked up their third straight win to start the year with a 21-14 effort versus Shroder.
NEWPORT (1-3)
The Wildcats snapped a three-game losing streaking by shutting out Bellevue 8-0.
ROGER BACON (3-0)
Roger Bacon completed a perfect non-conference scheduled with a 34-20 road win against Western Hills.
RYLE (4-0)
Don’t look now but Ryle is 4-0 after knocking off Highlands on the road in impressive fashion, 48-24.
