Team of the Week – Week 7

Gold Star Chili and TriStateFootball.com are partnering to present the High School Football Team of the Week during the 2015 regular season. Each week 8-10 schools will be nominated from the Greater Cincinnati area to be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner.
The voting is open now until Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Voters can vote once per hour, per IP address.
Once a team has won, they were ineligible to be nominated a second time. All of the winning teams will receive a trophy to be presented at their school by Gold Star Chili.
Here are this week’s nominations:
CHCA (6-1)
The Eagles won for the sixth time in seven tries this season by handling Summit Country Day with ease, 49-23.
FAIRFIELD (5-2)
Playing without starting QB Hunter Krause, the Indians kept their post-season aspirations alive by defeating Lakota East, 27-7.
KINGS (6-1)
The Knights stay on track to earn a post-season invite with a convincing 34-7 victory over Milford inside ECC action.
NEW RICHMOND (5-2)
New Richmond remained undefeated in conference play and are in first place in the SBAAC – American Division with a 49-28 win over Western Brown.
MOELLER (3-4)
The Crusaders got a huge win by knocking off Elder 49-42 on the road in another epic GCL South clash.
MOUNT HEALTHY (5-2)
Mount Healthy remained a perfect 4-0 inside SWOC play with a 14-point win over Harrison, 41-27.
NEWPORT CENTRAL CATHOLIC (3-4)
NCC opened up district play with a hard-earned win over Holy Cross at Holmes High School, 20-13.
READING (7-0)
With a 31-17 win over Taylor, the Blue Devils stayed in a first-place tie inside the CHL with Indian Hill with just three weeks left in the regualr season.
SYCAMORE (4-3)
The Aviators picked up their third straight with as they knocked off Oak Hills in 78-50 shootout inside GMC play.
TAFT (4-2)
The Senators moved to the top of the pack inside the Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference with a 42-6 win over Shroder.
