TSF Rankings Update: Week 10

The postseason is right around the corner in Ohio and Kentucky high school football and the playoff picture is really starting to take shape. A look at our latest TSF Team Rankings provides some good insight on which teams to watch this November.

RANKINGS – OHIO DI
There is little doubt which two teams are at the top of the rankings with Colerain and Wayne occupying the first two spots. However, after that the GCL South schools are having a hard time trying to find and maintain their identities. Elder has broken out of that league’s pack, jumping up three spots to No.3. The Panthers will face the top-ranked team in our Division II rankings, La Salle, to end the regular season on Friday night. The only other game pitting Top 10 teams this week will see Centerville travel to Wayne…COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DII-DIII
Big wins and big losses highlighted this past weekend’s Top 10 in our Ohio DII-DIII Team Rankings. Glen East fell three spots to No. 7 after losing to Kings, who jumped up to No.4 with the victory. They were the biggest movers in this week’s rankings. Despite a loss to unranked Loveland, Turpin remained at No. 3. Winton Woods and Edgewood also stayed in their same spots even though they lost to ranked schools…COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DIV-DVII
There were only a few changes in the TSF Ohio DIV-DII Team Rankings as the top six ranked small schools stayed put in the latest poll. Reading jumped up two spots to No. 7 after taking down Wyoming. Undefeated Brookville replaced Cincinnati Country Day, who lost to No. 5 CHCA. The bottom five teams in this week’s poll have tough matchups in week 10 so look for movement in next week’s final release of the season…COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – NKY
The top five teams in the TSF NKY Team Rankings remained the same as last week. Scott continued to inch its way up the charts after claiming the school’s first-ever district title. Great regular-season finales this coming week include the Eagles hosting unbeaten Simon Kenton, Beechwood at Newport Central Catholic and CovCath at Scott County this Friday…COMPLETE RANKINGS
