Late TD lifts Hamilton over Fairmont
- Updated: September 2, 2016
Eric Jackson scored the winning touchdown with 4:46 left to lift Hamilton to a 35-28 victory over Fairmont on Friday.
The Big Blue led by 14 points twice (21-7, 28-14), but Fairmont cut the deficit to seven late in the third quarter and tied it with 8:30 to play on a 1-yard run by Miles Johnson.
That set the stage for Jackson, who rushed for a game-high 122 yards and was 4 of 7 for 130 yards and another score in the air, including a 72-yard TD strike to Daquan Moffitt.
Hamilton is off to a 2-0 start and will host Kings next week.
