- Updated: September 28, 2016

Talawanda’s Logan Kamphaus was voted the WCPO Player of the Week for Week 5, registering 2,449 votes (25.58 percent).
The signal caller amassed 384 yards of total offense (233 passing, 151 rushing) and accounted for five touchdowns (four passing, one rushing) as the Braves notched their first win of the season over Little Miami.
Kamphaus edged out Austin Hoeh of Campbell County and Fairfield’s Josiah Scott in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 13 players were nominated with 9.574 votes casted.
We will be presenting awards to each of this season’s winners at the upcoming TSF Year in Review Shows coming in mid-to-late February (more details coming soon).
Next week’s WCPO Player of the Week nominees will be announced on Sunday evening. Please e-mail nominations weekly to [email protected] or on Twitter @TSFootball.
