The Conner Cougars were voted the Gold Star Chili Team of the Week for Week 5 as they grabbed their third straight victory, winning on the road at NewCath 27-14.
Conner finished with 1,021 (35.6 percent) of the 2,912 total votes tallied, edging out New Richmond and Loveland in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com.
Beavercreek, Beechwood, Madeira, Mason, McNicholas, St. Xavier, and Summit Country Day were also nominated.
As the Team of the Week winner, the Cougars will be presented an award at the school in the near future from our friends at Gold Star Chili.
