Week 2: Team of the Week

Gold Star Chili and TriStateFootball.com are partnering to present the High School Football Team of the Week during the 2016 regular season. Each week 8-10 schools will be nominated from the Greater Cincinnati area to be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner.
The voting is open now until Wednesday night at 6PM. Voters can vote once per hour, per IP address.
**EVERYONE THAT VOTES GETS THIS GREAT DEAL FROM GOLD STAR CHILI**
Once a team has won, they were ineligible to be nominated a second time. All of the winning teams will receive a trophy to be presented at their school by Gold Star Chili.
Here are this week’s nominations:
BETHEL-TATE (1-1)
The Tigers picked up their first win of the season, by taking down Fayetteville-Perry, 55-34.
COLERAIN (2-0)
Colerain got a huge road win at St. Xavier as they beat the Bombers 20-14 in overtime.
FRANKLIN (2-0)
Brad Childers returned to his alma mater and Trenton with his Wildcats and pulled out a huge 27-21 win.
LEBANON (1-1)
Lebanon grabbed their first victory by knocking off their rival, Loveland, 45-34.
LLOYD (2-1)
With their 48-7 win over Grant County last week, the Juggeranuats have outscored their opponents 86-19.
MARIEMONT (2-0)
The Warriors picked up their second straight with by shutting out Batavia, 49-0.
PRINCETON (2-0)
The Vikings are to a 2-0 start after taking down Springfield 28-21 last Friday night.
WALNUT HILLS (2-0)
Walnut Hills knocked off Ross 35-7 to pick up their second straight win to start the season.
SIMON KENTON (3-0)
The top-ranked Simon Kenton Pioneers faced some adversity, put finished strong knocking off Conner 39-27.
WINTON WOODS (1-1)
Winton Woods rebounded nicely in Week 2 as they shut out Glen Este, 47-0.
