Week 3: Team of the Week

Gold Star Chili and TriStateFootball.com are partnering to present the High School Football Team of the Week during the 2016 regular season. Each week 8-10 schools will be nominated from the Greater Cincinnati area to be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner.
The voting is open now until Wednesday night at 6PM. Voters can vote once per hour, per IP address.
Once a team has won, they were ineligible to be nominated a second time. All of the winning teams will receive a trophy to be presented at their school by Gold Star Chili.

Here are this week’s nominations:
ALTER (2-1)
Alter has scored 100 points over the past two weeks, including 49 in their road win at Xenia in Week 3.
BATESVILLE (4-0)
The Bulldogs are off to a 4-0 start with their latest victory as they prevailed 22-19 over Rushville.
COOPER (3-1)
After blowing a big Week 0 lead, the Jaguars have rattled off three straight wins, inclduing last week’s 44-14 win at Campbell County.
COVINGTON CATHOLIC (3-1)
For the second straight week, the Colonels sealed the deal on a win on missed kick by their oppoent as they held off LexCath, 21-20.
GOSHEN (2-1)
The Warriors rolled past Bethel Tate, 42-14, to grab their second win of the season last Friday.
HAMILTON (3-0)
The Big Blue got a big win as they knocked off Kings last Friday 34-27 to move to 3-0 on the season.
MIAMISBURG (3-0)
With their 49-6 win over Thurgood-Marshall last week, the Vikings enter GWOC play with a perfect 3-0 mark.
MILFORD (1-2)
Milford knocked off Norwood in a 52-48 shootout to pick up their first win of 2016.
TAFT (2-1)
Taft held off Holy Cross in an interstate clash, 27-19, to grab their second victory of 2016.
WYOMING (3-0)
The Cowboys cruised to 3-0 by taking care of business vs. McNicholas in 40-10 win last Friday nigh
