Week 9: Team of the Week

Gold Star Chili and TriStateFootball.com are partnering to present the High School Football Team of the Week during the 2016 regular season. Each week 8-10 schools will be nominated from the Greater Cincinnati area to be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner.
The voting is open now until Wednesday night at 6PM. Voters can vote once per hour, per IP address.
**EVERYONE THAT VOTES GETS THIS GREAT DEAL FROM GOLD STAR CHILI**
Once a team has won, they were ineligible to be nominated a second time. All of the winning teams will receive a trophy to be presented at their school by Gold Star Chili.
Here are this week’s nominations:
BEECHWOOD (8-1)
The Tigers picked up their fifth straight win by beating Dayton 50-0, marking their fifth straight game of scoring 40-plus points.
CLINTON-MASSIE (8-1)
Clinton-Massie squeaked by a good Wilmington team 23-21 to pick up their seventh consecutive victory.
FAIRFIELD (6-3)
Fairfield kept their post-season hopes alive by grabbing a clutch GMC win over Lakota East, 28-13.
HAMILTON (5-4)
With their win over Middletown in Week 8, the Big Blue secured their first non-losing season since 2010.
HARRISON (6-3)
The Wildcats knocked off Mount Healthy for the first time ever in SWOC play and boosted their post-season aspirations in the process.
INDIAN HILL (8-1)
Following their 72-0 win over Deer Park in Week 9, the Braves have now outscored their foes 277-14 during their 5-game winning streak, including pitching four straight shutouts.
NEWPORT CENTRAL CATHOLIC (5-4)
NewCath clinched the Class 2A, District 6 title with a 56-14 win at Newport. The Breds’ have now won three straight and four of last five games.
RYLE (9-0)
The Raiders prevailed in the battle of unbeatens in Northern Kentucky’s Game of the Year, beating Simon Kenton 32-25 in front of a packed house at Borland Stadium.
WAYNE (8-0-1)
Wayne picked up 38-14 win over Springfield and clinched the GWOC National East Division title in the process.
WITHROW (3-6)
The Tigers picked up their second straight ECC win as they knocked off Walnut Hills 28-14.
