La Salle remains perfect

On Friday, La Salle allowed more than four times as many points as it had surrendered in its first three games combined.
But the Lancers still won their fourth straight to open the season, 28-14 over Scott County (Ky.).
Cameron Porter rushed 26 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns to pace the Lancers’ ground attack. Griffin Merritt completed 14 of 21 passes for 218 yards and one score.
Jake Seibert caught that Merritt TD pass, finishing with four receptions for 99 yards.
La Salle will play at home for the third consecutive week when Winton Woods visits next Friday.
