Team of the Week: Week 2

Gold Star Chili and TriStateFootball.com are partnering once this year to present the High School Football Team of the Week during the 2017 regular season. Each week 8-10 schools will be nominated from the Greater Cincinnati area to be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner.
The voting is open now until Thursday night at 6PM Eastern. Voters can vote once per hour, per IP address.
Once a team has won, they were ineligible to be nominated a second time. All of the winning teams will receive a trophy to be presented at their school by Gold Star Chili.

Here are this week’s nominations:
Anderson (2-0)
The Redskins shutout McNicholas 39-0 in Week 2 and are now averaging 44 points per game through two weeks.
Campbell County (2-1)
After a tough overtime loss a week ago, the Camels bounced back in a big way as they downed NewCath 35-7.
Elder (2-0)
The Panthers weren’t very neighborly to Oak Hills on Saturday as they rolled their west-side rivals, 41-12.
Little Miami (2-0)
Little Miami has been impressive on both sides of the ball during their hot start. They pitched a second-straight shutout in a 32-0 win over Western Brown.
Mason (2-0)
After beating Withrow 55-0 the Comets are one of three undefeated inside the GMC as conference play gets set to kickoff.
New Richmond (1-1)
New Richmond bounced back after a disappointing loss in Week 1 as they took down Taylor 54-0.
Roger Bacon (2-0)
The Spartans are clicking on all cylinders early on and are now 2-0 after a 47-12 win over Western Hills.
Simon Kenton (3-0)
Despite starting the season with three straight road games, the Pioneers are 3-0. Their latest win came at Conner, 13-6.
Winton Woods (2-0)
The Warriors dominated West Clermont on both sides of the ball in Friday’s 25-2 victory.
Wyoming (2-0)
How ’bout them Cowboys! Wyoming is 2-0 after knocking off Taft 37-6 they’ve now outscored their opponents 113-12 through two weeks.
