2018 Snapshot: Taft
- Updated: August 4, 2018
Sustained success in football is something that is very rare from Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference schools but Taft seems to have cracked that code. The Senators are looking for their fourth straight playoff appearance and sixth in the last nine years. The next step is to nab that elusive first-ever postseason victory.
The talent is in place for Taft to accomplish its goals. The seniors are determined and focused. Most of these players have started or lettered since their freshmen years. Experience is a good problem to have. It should benefit the Senators quite well in their quest to advance in November.
Division IV, Region 12
2017 RECORD: 8-3, 5-0 SOPL American
COACH: Jeff Cargile (16-6 at Taft, two years; 16-6 overall)
