TSF Rankings Update: Week 5

Conference play has started and everyone now has their focus toward league titles, playoff berths and success in the postseason. It all comes down to performing against peers it will be the final judgement for advancing into November football. Here’s what’s in store heading into Week 5 of the season:

RANKINGS – OHIO DI
Princeton is the story having to forfeit its three wins because of an ineligible player. It throws a big monkey wrench into the rankings. Three Top 10 teams lost last weekend and it cost then #7 Wayne the most. The Warriors fall to #10  after a second straight loss. The team that beat them, #9 Miamisburg enters the polls fir the first time this fall. The prime-time matchup on Friday will be #2 Moeller at #3 to kick off the always interesting GCL South race… COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DII-DIII
Early season statements are being made in this poll. Entering the rankings is an unfamiliar face in #10 Little Miami. The Panthers are 4-0 for the first time since 1999 after the schools first ever victory against Mount Healthy. The Division III, Region 12 playoff picture is getting very intriguing. Major players from last fall’s postseason #2 Trotwood-Madison, #4 Alter and # 9 Chaminade Julienne look as if they are going to be factors in the outcome once again.… COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – OHIO DIV-DVII
Tough non-conference schedules has four of the polls 10 teams sitting at 2-2. The CHL will play a large role in how the final rankings settle. Including #1 Wyoming, the league has #5 Indian Hill, #7 Mariemont as well as unbeaten and unranked Deer Park, wanting to stake claims on a title.… COMPLETE RANKINGS

RANKINGS – NKY
A 20th straight keeps #1 Covington Catholic entrenched at the top. The Colonels had little trouble handling rival and reigning Class 1A state champion, #5 Beechwood. A second shutout in the last three outings pushed up #4 Campbell County who took down # 7 Ryle. Both teams are idle this Friday. It is a much-needed bye for nose-diving Ryle. The combined record of the four teams that the Raiders have lost to is 17-3…. COMPLETE RANKINGS
