Lakota East Voted Team of the Week

The Lakota East Thunderhawks were voted the Gold Star Chili Team of the Week for Week 6 after defeating Oak Hills, 41-3.

The Thunderhawks finished with 2,130 (38.05 percent) of the 5,527 total votes tallied, edging out Newport and Badin in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com.

Beechwood, CHCA, Elder, Turpin, Walton-Verona, Winton Woods, and Wyoming were also nominated.

As the Team of the Week winner, Lakota East will be presented an award at the school in the near future from our friends at Gold Star Chili.
