Lakota East’s Leahy Voted POW

Jackson Leahy of Lakota East was voted the Mella Window & Carpet Cleaning Player of the Week for Week 9, tallying 2,901 votes (33.2 percent).
Leahy came up with 10 solo tackles and a huge 32-yard interception return for a touchdown in the Thunderhawks’ win over Hamilton.
He edged out Travon Mason of Lloyd and Blanchester’s Brayden Sipple in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 14 players were nominated with 8,739 votes casted.
