Pregame Interview: Joe Wynn, Newport

Newport head coach Joe Wynn talks with Greg Shoemaker of TriStateFootball.com and James Rapien of ESPN 1530 AM radio about his Wildcats and their upcoming game with district rival Lloyd (4-2). Wynn, 27, is in his first year as a head coach. Newport is 4-2. The Wildcats have scored 21 points or more, five times in six games. In Wynn’s first six games at the helm, Newport has equaled it’s win total from the previous three years combined (4-29 from 2015 to ’17).
