2018 All-NKY Teams

Making the All-NKY Teams in 2018 was quite an accomplishment and a difficult task for the NKFCA (Northern Kentucky Football Coaches Association) to pick. The senior laden squads were filled with players that had outstanding performances this past fall.

Some amazing careers ended and new stars emerged. A pair of sophomores Cam Hergott (Beechwood) and Caleb Jacobs (Covington Catholic) were the All-NKY selections at quarterback. The future looks very bright for their programs. Not making the teams were Class 1A, District 4 Player of the Year, Cody Kramer (Ludlow) and Class 6A, District 5 Player of the Year, Christian Webster (Conner).

FIRST TEAM
Offense
OL – Trent Johnson, Sr, Highlands
OL – Jacob Gideon, Sr, Ryle – The 6-foot-3, 275 pound guard is committed to Western Michigan.
OL – Treyvon Nash, Sr, Simon Kenton
OL – Grant Hemmer, Sr,  Covington Catholic – A two-time First Team All-NKY selection.
OL – Carter Black, Sr,  Covington Catholic – A two-time First Team All-NKY selection.
OL – Michael Attabary, Sr, Cooper
QB – Cameron Hergott, So, Beechwood – Had 1,671 PaYds, 24 PaTDs, (only 7 Ints), 547 RuYds & 7 RuTDs in his first year as a starter.
RB – Casey McGinness, Sr,  Covington Catholic – The KFCA Class 5A, District 5 Player of the Year. Had great numbers with 2,140 RuYds, 35 RuTDs, 23 rec., 341 ReYds, 5 ReTDs & 2,765 APYds as senior. Career: 5,121 RuYds, 74 RuTDs, 69 rec., 1,035 ReYds, 10 ReTDs, 1 KRTD, 85 TotTDs
RB – Quincy Perrin, Jr, Scott – Had 1,392 RuYds, 19 RuTDs, 8 rec., 106 ReYds & 2 ReTDs. Career: 3,273 RuYds, 39 RuTDs, 14 rec., 185 ReYds, 3 ReTDs, 27 TotTkls & 1 FR.
WR – Jack Coldiron, Sr, Covington Catholic – The Miami (OH) commit had 26 rec., 664 ReYds, 25.5/rec. & 7 ReTDs. Career: 71 rec., 1,766 ReYds, 24.8/rec & 20 ReTDs.
WR – Reid Jolly, Sr, Campbell County – Had 63 rec., 921 ReYds & 9 ReTDs.
WR – Mikey Armour, Sr, Cooper – Had 113 PaYds, 2 PaTDs, 168 RuYds, 1 RuTD, 33 rec., 744 RYds, 9 ReTDs, 32 TotTkls, 1 FF, 1 FR & 1 Int. Career: 287 PaYds, 4 PaTDs, 275 RuYds, 1 RuTD, 85 rec., 1,422 ReYds, 16 ReTDs, 59 TotTkls, 1 FF, 1 FR & 1 Int.
TE – Michael Mayer, Jr, Covington Catholic – Had 46 rec., 1,029 ReYds, 22.3/rec. & 12 ReTDs.
K – Mason Molique, Sr, Ryle – A three-time First Team All-NKY selection. Converted 19/20 XPs & 4/6 FGs for 31 pts. Career: 168/175 XPs & 26/34 FGs for 247 pts.
