By The Numbers: Evan Prater
- Updated: July 25, 2019
Earlier this summer the reigning OPSWA Division IV Offensive Player of the Year Evan Prater announced his verbal commitment to suit up for the Cincinnati Bearcats. The Wyoming quarterback is coming off a sensational season helping the Cowboys to the state title. He ran for a career high 242 yards in the championship game. Considering that, Wyoming has started the second half of 10 of its 20 games on the running clock (ahead by 30+ points) over the two seasons with Prater under center and that he has only averaged 7.9 completions per game, in that span, his productivity is off the charts.
