2019 Video Snapshot: Lakota West

What do you do when your football team has had three consecutive losing campaigns? You go out and lure the best coach in your conference to come lead your school to the next level.

That is just what Lakota West did last winter when they made former Colerain head coach and alum, Tom Bolden an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Bolden loves the challenge that is in front of him. He knows that West has the “dudes” that can make them compete for a GMC title on a yearly basis. The Firebirds have lacked consistency since the school district split 20-plus years ago.

Once Bolden instills that winning mindset in his players watch out. The sleeping giant will have risen from his slumber. Lakota West has always looked the part of a juggernaut off the bus and on the sidelines but now they will start acting the part under Bolden’s guidance.
