Dixie Heights voted Team of the Week

The Dixie Heights Colonels were voted the Gold Star Chili Team of the Week for Week 1 after defeating George Rogers Clark, 37-7.

The Colonels finished with 2,252 votes (30.7 percent) of the 7,335 total votes tallied, edging out Talwanda and Hamilton in the voting conducted at TriStateFootball.com.

Boone County, Kings, La Salle, Purcell Marian, Sycamore, Ryle, and Turpin were also nominated.

As the Team of the Week winner, Dixie Heights will be presented an award at the school in the near future from our friends at Gold Star Chili.
